The Hackettstown Community Band is a traditional community band who plays at local and area events, parades, and holiday celebrations. No audition is necessary, and all are invited to play. VISIT THEIR WEBSITE for information.
The Stone Soup Symphony is an open community orchestra based in Hackettstown, New Jersey.
They provide local musicians a fun, non-competitive environment where they can learn, grow, and perform music together for their community.
The symphony is a non-audition group and everyone is welcomed warmly. They have
no principle players, nor do they audition for seating. No person receives any compensation for their skills and
they do not hire "ringers". The strings rotate between 1st and 2nd violin and
they try to place an equal skill level between the two sections.
