For the 3rd consecutive year, the Hackettstown Band Boosters are once again accepting your contributions for the WRNJ/NORWESCAP HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE! Baskets are $25.00, and beginning December 15, you can help us out by contributing cash or check, to sponsor all or part of a basket. Contributions are due in by Thursday, December 18, or Friday, December 19, at the latest!
Thanks to our band members and their families, 11 local families who might not have otherwise have had enough to eat, were provided with full dinners on their tables on Christmas day in 2007! That's right, our collection resulted in the contribution of 11 food baskets for the WRNJ- NORWESCAP FOOD BANK HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE, three more baskets than in 2006! And as last year, our contribution was mentioned on the air, as WRNJ used us as an example, challenging listeners to follow our example.
Its nice for us to be able to give back to the community who gives so much to support our band program. Thank you to everyone who contributed last year.
